ND X Cassette Playa And More

Another high end Nike Dunk High Premium product has made its debut among the “high” Nike dunks product line which, among others, include the Nike Dunk High Premium SB - Bloody Sunday, the Nike Dunk High Premium Osaka Dotonbori, and the Nike Dunk High Premium Notebook. For quite a while now, I have been an avid fan of the Nike dunk product line but after wearing the newest member of the lineup, the Nike Dunk High Premium ND X Cassette Playa, I have simply fallen for it.
Most likely the perfect prominent eye-catcher is in its name itself, Nike-Dunk High Premium ND X Cassette Playa. The shoe actually has concentric circles laid out like an old-school or retro cool cassette player right near the middle of it where the Nike Tick can be found. Ever since the advent of the CD and MP3 players (and more high end gadgetry to that effect), those bulky cassette players have now but become obsolete. Its just a cool thing to add a little retro in the design of the Nike Dunk High Premium ND X Cassette Playa when they did and this is definitely not going to be outmoded anytime soon unlike its namesake. I bet that if you didn’t hear the name of the shoe you’s have a hard time picturing out the design on the shoe as describe, did you?
Turning away from its cool design, the Nike Dunk High Premium ND X Cassette Playa’s added plus factor is its looming height of almost half a foot! They were serious when they laid claim to its fantastic height! Its rather prominent sole adds about an inch minimum, maybe more, at its vantage point (there’s no other strategy to emphasize its height but by geographical lingo), to its overall height. It should be obvious to you that this is not a boot as a good portion of the shoe, its ‘upper body’, was given meticulous design consideration to render an illusion of height. I’ll bet you’ll go back to the picture to see what I mean now.
Follow me on this, the shoe begins with a prominent long flat region on the front (the part where your toes are located in). It then starts a sleek slope upwards in the mid section which ends up smoothly at the tip of the ‘nose’ of the shoe (right within the area between your heel and toes). From the highest point in front, the tip of the tongue, it slopes back down ever so slightly as to end up slightly below the tip of the tongue of the shoe.
My specific pair of Nike Dunk X Cassette Playa shoes are predominantly black (just like the old school cassette players before). I use the word predominantly because of Nike’s recognized liberal use with color. Some other sort of colors have imparted on my pair including blue, which encompasses the circular cassette player design and red, which seems to highlight some focal visual points. Topping it all off is yellow which is craftily placed at the extreme back end of the shoe.
