Gaining Height Through Height Increasing Shoes

April 7th, 2010 by john roberts

There have been various methods at which the desire to increase height could be achieved. Stretching exercises, multivitamins, height inducing supplements and surgery are practices that top the list but none beats the instant height gained through the use of height increasing shoes.

While other practices to boost height on a more natural manner is a good option, the effort, the time and the money that is spent to gain a few increments in increasing the height could exact a toll on many people aside from results that could sometimes be ambiguous. Common also is the possibility risk of a relapse even when height has already been achieved.

Previously though, the use of elevator shoes was practiced on a limited scale catering only to a specific clientele. The unnatural appearance of the lift shoes also limited acceptability to a degree that resulted to slower market acceptance coupled with design limitations and comfort.

As the importance on height became more fashionable and technology for the manufacture of elevated shoes became more available, height increasing shoes has started to really gain popular acceptance in the market.

Cynicism though still remains and understandably so. But then, prominent people and celebrities walk around in it every time but nobody notices because the manufacturers of height increasing shoes took every care possible to come out with presentation so that it will be difficult to tell lift shoes from regular ones.

The designs carried by elevator shoes today vary to furnish to virtually every fit, function and material. Lift shoes are available in hundreds of styles to go with any attire and function task.

As with prior practices in manufacture, the principle in the manufacture of height increasing shoes is pretty much the same. It is made of the upper, the midsole, the insole and the outer sole and the only difference is in the creation of a build up in the inner sole or the internal riser. The result is anywhere from one inch to as much as four inches new increase in height.

Detachable removable insoles are also popular choices for people who want to have that added height to their regular shoes. Almost nearly as good are detachable insoles that could provide added height to regular shoes.

A detachable insole though has, for sanitary reasons need to be replaced after several uses and may not fit snugly to every shoe aside from the discomfort that could build up since the riser is not built in with the shoe.

Initially, height increasing shoes where planned for use and are supposed to be marketed to shorter people; their comfort, presentation and elegance however have been attracting taller people add to it the fact that many of these shoes are handcrafted in genuine leather.

Lift shoes are also highly recommended for flatfooted people as these tend to improve their gait.

Height increasing shoes, unlike the more natural and permanent methods, provide only an illusion of being taller; with the illusion though comes better posture, health, style, appearance and more important, confidence.
