Recently it was my turn to create my first ever Maid Of Honour Speech. As i had absolutely no experience what so ever in this department my first though was to turn the Internet for ideas. I soon realized that there was hardly any helpful web pages targeted on how to write a great memorable Maid of Honour Wedding Speech.

So that prompted me to try and create a site here. I also adore baking so i thought i would bake up ‘Sophie’s Recipe To Your Perfect Maid Of Honour Speech.’ Including essential speech ingredients.

Step 1: start with your speech preparation. Just as you would preheat your cooker and lay out all of the ingredients, you need to prepare your speech. Please take your time. Start planning your speech early. Make sure if you can leave plenty of time before the wedding. This will leave room to cover any mistakes and of course, time to practice delivering your speech.

Step 5: When dishing out your speech remember to talk clearly and loudly so everyone can hear and enjoy the hard work you put into making your speech.

If you can stomach it, try and deliver your speech out to the whole room. Try to make eye contact with everyone in the room and speak out towards them. This bit of eye contact will capture and help keep the huge wedding crowds undivided attention.

Oh before i forget, my last quick tip is to stand up during your speech delivery. You may be rolling your eyes and thinking how obvious that tip is. But come the big day, after the nerves kick in, the thought of standing up in front of a large crowd will be the last thing you want to do. However, if you can manage to do this the audience will be able to see ad hear you properly and therefore your speech will have full impact and be the huge success you deserve!
GREAT! So there you have it, my quick and easy recipe for a perfect Maid of Honour Wedding Speech. If you follow these guidelines, then you will be golden.
