Instinctively, when a guy goes thru the experience of having his girlfriend split up with him, he uncovers himself begging and pleading for her to take him back. Take it from me - I’ve been in those awfully shoes! And each time I reminisce about that point in my life, I embarrassingly shake my head at the indisputable fact that I behaved so pitifully!

However , the reality at the time was that I just couldn’t accept getting dropped. So, I called her numerous times per day to apologize and beg her to take me back. At first, she would answer my calls, but after a while she realized I was not going away, so she just stopped responding. At that point, i did what any desperate ex-boyfriend would do : I started sending a multitude of text messages. Naturally, those went unanswered also.

However , what I failed to realize is that the apologies, pleas and gifts were signs of my emotional unrest as a consequence of losing her, which believe it or not is exactly why your ex-girlfriend will not take you back either! That is’s right, doing the exact opposite of that’s basically the only way to get your ex to take you back.

A self-help guide I found online indicated the psychological principle “You desire What you can’t Have” in very clear terms. That principle can be further expanded to say “You don’t want What you may have Easily”. And that’s exactly the case with your ex-girlfriend. As you are displaying overt eagerness to go back to her, it’s easy for her to turn a blind eye - from a mental standpoint.

Give it a try ; behave as if you’re fine with the breakup and see how quickly she is going to realize how much she misses you and come running back to you. Make her think she couldn’t get you back even if she attempted and see the positive results!
