Develop Telepathy - A Beginners Guide

July 4th, 2009 by George J Dexon

Telepathy is the direct transfer of thoughts, emotions, or feelings from one person to another person using only the power of the mind.

All of us have latent telepathic abilities. This is something which most of us cannot use consciously, however; like any other skill, telepathy must be practiced. There are times when we use telepathy without even realizing it; but what of you could develop telepathy to the point where you could use it at will?

There is plenty of skepticism about telepathy, just as there is about any other less commonly used natural mental ability which humans possess. Think about a time when you have used telepathy; for example, I bet you’ve been in a great mood when you run into a friend who is feeling down. Even after speaking to him or her for just a minute, you start feeling these sad, depressive emotions yourself.

Its not what they were saying to you; not with their mouths, anyway. What has happened here is that you were telepathically receiving their emotions and feelings.

Scientific studies have shown that by accessing the sub-conscious centre of your mind and learning to focus your thoughts and feelings toward a specific person, it is possible to re-awaken the dormant telepathic abilities.

Just like the use of language, telepathy has to be learned. As children, we learn spoken and body language from our parents. We learn by imitating these methods of communication; similarly, telepathy may be learned.

What if our parents never taught us to use that other ability, the one where we can communicate with our minds? Does that mean we cant do it? No. It simply means we were never taught how.

Lets look at some ways you might use to awaken your own latent telepathy.

Mental-Muscle training

In much the same way as young children need to learn to strengthen their voice boxes and learn to control how their mouth moves as they learn to make words, youll need to learn to strengthen and control your telepathic muscles.

The centers in your brain that control telepathic communication work most strongly on the sub-conscious level, or in the trance-like hypnotic state. This trance state is a level of relaxation all humans are capable of reaching without too much trouble.

The key is to practice relaxation techniques until you can easily attain this trance state. Once you can do this, youll be well on your way to developing your telepathic abilities.

Focus

It does take some practice to maintain your focus while in the deep relaxation of a trance state. Focus on someone who you want to telepathically communicate with as you relax and stay focused as you slip into a trance state.

Imagine this person and project happy thoughts. Visualize the person receiving your happy thoughts and feelings. Maintain your focus for as long as you think it takes the person to feel the connection between you.

Then stop focusing on them at all. Stop the contact so that they can feel the communication being broken off; this should make them attempt to reestablish this link.

You should begin practicing like this individually so that when you start training with a partner you will have already laid the necessary groundwork to send and receive these mental transmissions.

Partner Practice

Choose one person to be the receiver and one to be the sender. The sender should choose simple items to project. Choose items with clear, bright colors that are easily recognizable.

The receiver should have a pen and paper handy in order to write down anything which may be a telepathic communication.

Afterwards, sender and receiver compare notes to assess how successful the exercise has been. Dont get discouraged; telepathy is an ability which takes practice, but you will improve over time.
