The Search For The Best All Natural Skin Care Products.

May 31st, 2009 by Peter Clark

Worldwide there is a groundswell of women looking to find more natural skin care products. Millions of women are now searching out the best all natural skin care products, and for good reason.

Slowly consumers are recognizing that our cosmetics and personal and body care products as well as many skin care products can contain ingredients that can potentially be dangerous.

A quick example, a recent study found lead in over 50% of big brand lipsticks tested.

And although it’s really nice to look better or smell nicer, no one wants to do that at the risk of their health. I mean who wants to be putting lead on their lips?

And big name manufacturers are now recognizing this and trying to get a foothold in the natural products market.

Its no coincidence that LOreal has recently bought The Body Shop, a huge seller of all natural personal products.

Back to looking at skin care products. What does “natural” or “all natural” mean for skin care products or cosmetics? No one really knows, there’s no formal definition.

It’s not known what natural formally means, and for this reason there are companies out there marketing “natural” products containing chemicals that most would not consider “natural”.

So what do we do if we’re looking for the best all natural skin care products and there are some out there which can still contain potentially nasty ingredients?

Well remember, for most women the reason they are looking for natural skin care products is that they want products that are SAFE to use, as well as work well.

So we can, once we know this, use this information to our advantage.

So, how do we find these products? Lets look at how we determine if a product should be safe. There is a website called the cosmetic safety database. It considers the health risks inherent in a wide range of cosmetics and skin care products and more. It rates the potential health risks of various ingredients in these products.

So you can actually search the various ingredients used in products and see what risks they pose, though of course these are hotly debated by the mainstream cosmetics and skin care industry. For example go there and search parabens and see what you get. A list of the various parabens (a chemical preservative) used in products, and their considered risk potential to health.

And then you can go to the Campaign For Safe Cosmetics. They have a Compact that any company can sign that pledges that company to making products that are free of dangerous or suspected dangerous chemicals.

And if a company has signed that compact it should make safe skin care products. You can search this compact for any company name to see if they have signed.

So you’ve found a company that makes natural skin care products and has signed. So their products are safe. But how do you know they’re any good? Well to me any company that offers a money back guarantee on their products must have good products. But even amongst the natural skin care companies that have signed getting a guarantee is very rare.

Yes there is a company that has signed the compact and offers a full money back guarantee on their products, and they make the best all natural skin care products.

I’ll tell you which company does this on my website.

Pregnancy Over 45

May 31st, 2009 by Shola Oslo

Women who desire a successful pregnancy over 45 years old should begin to prepare their bodies for the pregnancy at least five months in advance. They will want to give birth to a strong and healthy baby, and need to supply a healthy egg which can be easily fertilized.

We are blessed with millions of eggs at the time of birth, and hen we attain our 40s, we are still left with a large number of unfertilized ova in our ovaries, waiting to be fertilized and thereafter, a baby.

Healthy eggs are not an accident. A healthy environment free of stress and toxins are a very positive start. If you also assure your body of being hormonally balanced with good nutrition and the appropriate antioxidants you hedge the opportunity for conceiving even more.

The follicle begins to develop into two times its earlier size, roughly five months prior to ovulation, and around a month later, it again attains two times its earlier size. The follicle undergoes various transformations in the following 3 months. The follicle starts responding to FSH, 2-3 weeks before ovulation. FSH helps the follicle to grow twice its size, to commence producing estrogen, and release an egg thereafter.

There are things you can do to assure the healthy development of your egg. Hormones need to be present in order for the production of an egg to take place. The ingesting of non-organic dairy or meat products can disrupt the balance of hormones needed for follicles to grow.

Many chemicals may be mistaken for hormones. These “copycat” chemicals are often present in fruit and vegetable sprays, preservatives, artificial colors and flavors, and other pre-prepared food additives. Home sanitizing products often contain petroleum based chemicals, as do cosmetics and medication residues.

Because of this, detoxifying your body is important. If you are familiar with and have been exposed to the aforementioned chemicals, you may wish to consider a 28 day cleansing regimen comprised of five cleanses. The regimen should include colon, liver, kidney, parasite, and heavy metal cleanses. This will be especially beneficial if you have previously tried In Vitro Fertilization or fertility drugs, as they have undoubtedly had an effect on your hormonal balance and ovulation.

Earlier we talked about proper nutrition and its affect on your body. There is a good chance, if you eat like a Westerner, that you are not getting the minerals and vitamins needed to stay healthy. Organic foods are a good start but all women, especially mature mothers, need to start with supplements before they are pregnant in order to assure their babies the health they deserve.

Obtaining a high quality nutritional supplement is vital. Many supplements on the market today include chemicals that are similar in form to vitamins, but which the body is unable to digest and absorb as it should. Supplements containing superfoods are a good choice because they are high in nutrients. Superfoods have been scientifically demonstrated to provide meaningful and important health benefits.

Alkagreens Plus, green superfood mix, and AntioxiPlus consisting of superfood fruits with antioxidant benefits, are the two supplements which work beautifully on my mature mothers.

What Are Free Public Divorce Records?

May 31st, 2009 by Dave Kelly

One of the greatest civil amenities that we enjoy from government agencies is Public Records. They come in various specific categories, with Marriage, Divorce, Birth and Death constituting the Vital Public Records group. We can learn a great deal about people from their vital public records and Public Divorce Records are popular for that.

If there’s been a divorce, all the information would go into the database. This is not optional. Personal particulars of both the divorcing parties and those of their children if any, other details such as time and place of divorce, filing number, alimony, child custody and visitation arrangement, final decree, certificate and so forth are standard information in public Divorce Lookup.

If you know the very courthouse where the divorce proceedings were conducted, that’s the quickest source of divorce records. Otherwise, they can be requested at the various government agencies responsible for it. This is a public service and any member of the public is entitled to free divorce records but there are rules and regulations to observe.

As divorce data come under state jurisdiction, there are differences in the laws governing them. Some states are stringent while others are easy-going. Along with other public data, these are uploaded to the central state repository while the respective county courthouses maintain their own set.

Free Divorce Records are readily available these days and people make use of them for a multitude of purposes. Top on the list is for verifying that previous marriages have been formally annulled when divorcees apply to re-marry. Other uses are checking background, establishing biological relationship and researching genealogy. Restrictions may apply when employing information of others.

It’s easy to conduct a Divorce Records Search. There are basically two options: DIY (do-it-yourself) or commercial record providers. If time and effort are constraints, turning to commercial record providers is more viable. A fee is incurred but it spares you all the hassle and very professional results are typically available within minutes.

Learn Telepathy - What Is Holding You Back?

May 31st, 2009 by Melina Gibson

Telepathy is the ability to send or receive thoughts and feelings over a distance. This is a form of communication which happens directly between two minds without the use of any of the five standards senses. It’s also an ability which every person has the capacity for.

You’ve more than likely already used your natural telepathic abilities before even if you were unaware of it. All of us have had the experience of thinking of someone only to find them getting in touch with you shortly after.

This wasn’t a coincidence. What happened is that you or the other person initiated some sort of telepathic contact and there was an exchange of thoughts or feelings which one of you sent and the other received.

Usually, they have unconsciously sent you their thoughts telepathically and you received them with the result that this person comes to mind. You may have had the same experience in reverse as well; you call someone who you haven’t talked to in some time and find them completely unsurprised to hear from you.

Despite being very common, most people are doubtful of the existence of telepathy or that learning telepathy is something which they can do. A lot of us are held back by religious indoctrination which teaches us that these kinds of abilities are certainly the work of evil forces. Others are reserving judgment, doubting telepathy unless and until it is scientifically proven and accepted as fact.

Others think that if telepathy was important that the ability would come to us more easily. Of course, this argument doesn’t add up ” it’s not as if we’re born knowing how to speak the language which we think of as our mother tongue. The idea that telepathy is without value is just as misguided as the opinion that this and other psychic abilities are the handiwork of the Devil. Telepathic communication and verbal communication can be thought of as the two sides of the same coin.

In fact, spoken language and telepathy can be complements to each other. Sometimes the spoken word is incapable of expressing exactly what we mean; conversely, telepathy can sometimes fail to convey the shadings and nuances that spoken language can. Being able to communicate with both allows you to make yourself completely understood.

Learning telepathy is in essence acquiring a new sense which lets you see the world in a different way; in fact, it opens more possibilities to you and gives you a broader perspective. This alone makes telepathy a talent well worth developing.

Partnering up with a close friend who is also interested in learning telepathy is the best way to practice this natural ability. It makes learning easier, quicker and more fun too!

You’ll want to practice with your partner while in separate rooms or even with the two of you at your respective homes. This way you’ll be unable to read body language or any other kind of visual cues. Relax and free your mind of stress and worry. After your practice sessions, call each other to compare notes.

You’ll take turns being the sender and receiver. First, visualize your partner clearly and imagine something connecting the two of you. Many choose to visualize a beam of light, but even the image of cans on a string can be helpful ” just pick something which is easy for you to focus on.

Next, visualize your thoughts being sent over this link to your partner. Choose something which won’t be easy for your partner to guess, but keep your transmissions simple at first.

After you feel that you have sent your telepathic signal, call your partner to ask what they received from you. Once you compare notes, take a few minutes to rest and then switch places with the sender in the first exercise now being the receiver.

You do need to be patient as you learn telepathy; it takes time to learn this skill and it’s important not to let yourself get frustrated if it doesn’t always work. If you dont think your transmission has been successful after 15 minutes, take a break and try again later. Otherwise, you’ll just wear yourself out.

Keep a positive outlook towards learning telepathy and practice regularly. You need to train your mind to use this skill, so be patient and before you know it, you’ll be able to enjoy all the benefits of learning to use your natural telepathic abilities.

4 All Too Common Flabby Arm Exercises Errors

May 30th, 2009 by Louis Locke

There are specific ways of doing flabby arm exercises that give you the biggest bang for your buck. And there are ways of doing said exercises that give you the smallest bang for your buck.

And in some cases, the technique used is so poor that serious injury results. I had to learn this the hard way. My loss is your gain. Please learn from my mistakes.

So please do not fall under the paralysis by analysis spell!

Here are 4 critical things you should NOT be doing when performing flabby arm exercises:

1. Shutting their eyes. Believe it or not, many personal trainer text books recommend doing exercises with eyes closed as a progression to increase balance and/or coordination. The issue, however, is that you are trying to get toned arms ASAP not increase your balance. Closing your eyes while exercising, will slow down the arm toning process.

2. 12 or more repetitions. Please do not buy into the outdated myth that high repetition work is the key to toned and sexy arms. Nothing could be further from the truth. The true key to toned and sexy arms is to work all your muscle fibers. The only way to do this, is to use light, medium, and most importantly, heavy weights.

3. The exact same workout for extended periods of time. I don’t know how some women can endure the psychological boredom of doing the same workout week in and week out. Not only is this boring for your mind, but it’s boring for your body. And if your body gets bored, you’ll stop getting results.

4. Body-weight movements. Maybe ok for beginners, but not ok for those that want fast results. You see, free weights are much better because they allow you to work the arm muscles from many angles with any amount of weight.

Don’t get bogged down with all the information about flabby arm exercises. You have to take action or results will never come! Simply ignore the feeling of overwhelm and get started now, not tomorrow. With the above pointers in mind, your toned arms will be right around the corner.

Designer Pearl Jewelry

May 30th, 2009 by Matt Hellstrom

Pearls over the years have been a reliable accessory for just about any woman. Pearls as a jewelry item have been fashioned into countless different styles and looks. Designer pearl jewelry isn’t as hugely expensive as people might believe, nor are they as pricey as diamonds or other types of precious stones.

Women’s fashion magazines are full of designer pearl jewelry of all types and makes. Don’t forget that there are a wide variety of pearls today. The finest of them are very, very smooth and round. However, pearls can come in different shapes and sizes, with baroque pearls also being appreciated as items to make up elegant jewelry pieces. These baroque pearls are found in many newer strands, necklaces and bracelets on the market.

Pearls come from living mollusks, like oysters. Most of today’s pearls come from pearl farms, where huge numbers of mollusks are cultivated and relieved of their pearl at the proper time. The most valuable of course, are taken, from nature and have always been sought after by collectors and dealer. Seawater varieties are more expensive than the freshwater types, too, whether farmed or natural.

Always be watchful for fake or imitation pearls in jewelry. They will not be nearly as iridescent as real ones, and they’re pretty easy to spot as fakes. As adornment on clothing, pearls have had a long and distinguished history. They could be seen on any number of royal headdresses or gowns and capes over the years. They’ve always added beauty and charm to intricate items of clothing in addition to being worn as jewelry.

Designer pearl jewelry as a home craft has become more popular this last decade. There are several books available which can show you how to make chokers, bracelets and earrings, among other fine pieces. All it takes is a few simple and uncomplicated tools and supplies and the mastering of several relatively easy techniques. There are a wide variety of styles - from classic all the way up to modern and funky - that pearls can be used in, and all are fun to make and wear.

Designer pearl jewelry can be found in any size or color to please just about any taste. The most common of pearls - white — stand beside the rarest (and most beautiful) - black — in just about any jewel display case anywhere you go in the world.

If you’re in the market for designer pearl jewelry it never hurts to learn a bit of these items. You’ll want to take good care of your pearls. If you have a pearl necklace, check periodically to ensure that the silk cord used to string the pearls is in good condition. Re-knotting may be necessary if you wear your pearls frequently. Avoid spraying perfume or hairspray on the pearls. Wipe them gently with a non-abrasive, soft cloth after each wearing and keep them away from sharp objects which may damage the surface of the pearl.

Toys, Their History And Their Effects On The Mind’s Development

May 30th, 2009 by Tom Norman

As everyone knows, toys are mostly associated with children and play. However, with that said, it can be fairly common some animals and human adults to play with toys as well. There are millions of toys which have been made to be just that, toys. But there are items that have been made for different reasons which will sometimes be used as toys as well.

You might find a young child “flying” an everyday inanimate object around, making believe it’s an aeroplane, or, just as likely if not more so, you may see an animal playing around with a ball of string, chasing it and throwing it around. And where some items that aren’t toys can be played with, there are toys that are made specially as collectibles, not intended for playing with.

The origin of the toy dates back to before any kind of records began; dolls depicting babies, animals or fighting men, as well as models of tools used by adults are often recovered at archaeological sites. Where the word “toy” came from, we do not know, but it is believed that it was first introduced to the language in the 14th century.

Toys, and general play, are very important in terms of growing up and learning more about the world. Children use toys and play to discover their identity, to aid their body’s development, explore relationships, and practise the adult skills all of us come to need.

It is known for adults to use toys and play to exercise their mind and body, to form new social relationships and strengthen existing ones, to remember things from childhood, to develop further practical skills and to decorates their homes. Toys, although they seem to be for simple light entertainment, in actual fact they have a big influence on the turnout of our lives

Child Development: Play and toys serve several purposes in animals and humans. The main reason they’re so important is that they allow us to learn through play, which is the most effective way for people to learn because they are genuinely enjoying the learning process. Toys helps us to acquire the mental and physical skills that we need in our adult lives and stimulate our minds to think.

One of the simplest toys in the known world is a set of wooden building blocks. This is also one of the most effective toys for mind development. It has been discovered that they help with maths and science skills, also hand-eye co-ordination. Other toys such as marbles and balls serve similar purposes in the development of young minds, allowing the children to use their minds and bodies to learn about a wide range of skills.

Clay modelling toys such as play-dough have been proven to have a profound effect on the development of a child in a mental, physical, social and emotional sense.

Ladies… Does Your Beard Demand Attention? Let Chicago Laser Hair Removal Come To Your Rescue!

May 30th, 2009 by Joyce Pendelthumb

Circus and carnival barkers used to cry out “come see the bearded lady” as they moved from town to town. People would stare and children would point at the sideshows. Unfortunately excessive hair growth on the face and other areas is something that women still deal with today. It is called Hirsutism and it is estimated that nearly 25% of women will have to deal with it.

Hirsutism Defined

For those who do not know Hirsutism is the growth of excess hair that is dark in color and coarse in texture. This hair can occur on the face, back, abdomen or chest. Mainly this is a problem seen in the female gender, though it is not unheard of for men to report it as well. The reason men are considered less likely to have Hirsutism, might be because they are accustomed to the growth of coarse dark hair on their face and other areas and may not notice excessive growth.

All human beings have hair, and it is all over the body. The number of hair follicles you will have is actually determined in the womb. This hair that is found all over the body can be categorized as one of two types:

1) Vellus Hair- This is hair that is present all over the body, it will be light and wispy and barely noticeable. Men and women both have this hair.

2) Terminal Hair- The hair in your eyebrows and on the top of your head fits into this category. The hair is normally dark in color and has a coarse texture.

The long dark hairs that a woman may begin to notice under the chin or other areas of the face are a situation where vellus hair has transformed into terminal hair. This most commonly happens to women as they age. At times thick hair on the face can point to an underlying medical condition, but not often. Most of the time it is a simple matter of increased levels of the male hormone testosterone in the female body that is to blame.

Remove the Hair

Now that you have a little background on what and why you probably want the answer to only one question, “How do I get rid of unwanted facial hair?” Well the answer is you have many choices, but as you will see, the best choice is laser hair removal.

The number one way people generally use is shaving. However as you well know shaving has some distinct disadvantages. First off it is nearly impossible to get a really close shave and while that may not be important to the male gender a woman suffering from excessive facial hair wants every trace of it removed.

Depilatory creams are possibly the second most used method of hair removal. The biggest problem with this method beyond being messy is the smell and the possible skin irritation.

On the other hand, laser hair removal has none of these issues and several more benefits. To begin with, laser hair removal goes to the source of hair growth by affecting the follicle itself.

The laser in laser hair removal is actually a strong light that passes through the skin seeking out the melanin in dark colored hair. When it hits the melanin, the follicle is then damaged by the laser but none of the surrounding tissue is hurt. This leads to inhibited hair growth and over time can leave the area completely hair free. Some Chicago laser hair removal practitioners claim they can treat even the lightest hairs with laser hair removal.

The staff at many of the Chicago laser hair removal clinics is excellent, but even if you are half way across the country one thing is sure. Laser hair removal is easy, painless and a potentially permanent answer to the presence of unsightly facial hair in women!
